Pure Heart weekend

More than your average church retreat, this intensive weekend uses Teaching, Processing & Encountering God to break the shameful power of your backstory and establish you in your righteous identity in Christ. You’ll receive several months of discipleship-counseling in one weekend. Please note that the retreat starts early on Friday afternoons. You will need to be free of all work and family obligations for that afternoon. The goal of the weekend is three-fold:

Identity Realized – understanding our shame-based identity and how it developed
Freedom Restored – out of our bondage to lies (from wounds, judgments and unforgiveness) and into the freedom that Christ bought for us
Intimacy Renewed – out of hiding or false intimacies that never satisfy, and into a genuine closeness with God (Read more detail below . . .)

Pure Heart Weekend begins on a Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday just after noon.

Fri Afternoon: Get Out of Your Sunday-School Head
Re-introduce yourself to your heart. Learn what is almost never taught about Soul-Spirit distinctions. Powerful, thought-provoking teaching and discovery.

Friday Evening: Reconnect with Your Story
Let the Holy Spirit remind you of your backstory, and the broken places where your story got derailed. You will be able to identify the Lies you have bought over a life-time of conflicts, frustrations —even abuse. You will pinpoint the associated emotions and behavior patterns.

Friday Night: This is a powerful night of self-discovery. You will discern the enemy’s plan to destroy your intimacy with God, while at the same time it will become obvious what the Lord wants to do in your heart to restore it.

Saturday Morning: We start the morning with our second powerful Bible Study, where we will examine God’s process for transformation.

Saturday’s Major Work is to introduce every one, individually, to the process of Healing Prayer, the way God comforts and heals hurtful memories, and the way He downloads new truths to establish you in the Love of Christ. It is a day of prayer, dialogue, confession, forgiveness, and renouncing strongholds; a day of hearing a new, fresh word from the Lord Himself, directly to your heart

Sunday Morning: We will study our third powerful passage about our new Identity in Christ. We will give you tools to help you continue to walk out your healing and transformation. We have an exercise to teach you how to stand in spiritual warfare, to stand in your new freedom.

Pure Heart Weekend is currently offered in formats for Men Only and Women Only. However, it could also be an powerful weekend for a Leadership Board (Board of Elders, Deacons, Ministry Leaders) or church staff. It is a unique opportunity to strengthen your understanding of each other’s testimonies, and to deepen your love and appreciation for one another. Doing this Weekend together would unite your hearts for greater ministry as a team.
